Our outdoor Chanukah celebration could not have been better thanks to emcee Jonah Kaplan from Today's TMJ4, a laser light show, an 8-foot ice menorah, the Hillel Academy/Jewish Beginnings children's choir, Hillel drum circle, Hillel High School boys choir, free Chanukah food, and the warm company of family and friends. Chanukah kicked off with a public menorah lighting at the Milwaukee County Courthouse. County Executive Chris Abele lit the menorah and Hillel Academy children sang traditional Chanukah songs. Thank you to John O'Hara Photography for capturing the moment.
A crowd of 400+ turned out on a beautiful Sunday afternoon for our Community Lag B'Omer Celebration with three fabulous entertainers--delighting kids of all ages. Schlitz Audubon Nature Center hosted our group - what a gorgeous setting! Thank you to Don Abrams for these great pictures.
